Architectural Digest - I love every inch of Dakota' Johnsonβs home. It may sound surprising if youβve followed me for a while (donβt worry, light and bright neutrals are still my favorite) but this midcentury-modern home exudes warmth with its dark walls and woods. The color palette brings the outdoors in and Iβm a sucker for cane and rattan.
Vogue - Parenting in Quarantine: We Are All Going Crazy. Whether you have children or not, this is an interesting read. There is no βeasiestβ position to be in these days. Whether youβre solo, moved back in with your parents, have four children, or are elderly with little help, theyβre all tough. As hard as it is I consider myself lucky to have my family with me. When times get tough I try to hold on to that feeling.
Harperβs Bazaar - The Best Summer Movies of 2020 (and Their Changing Release Dates). The pandemic is rocking summerβs blockbuster slate. Here, the biggest filmsβand their shifting premiere datesβto keep on your radar.I loved A Quiet Place. If you havenβt seen it already watch it tonight! Looking forward to II in September!

This weekβs most worn piecesβ¦
w h a t
drink - Lemon water! I recently found myself with a huge bag of lemons that were starting to go bad. I juiced them all and have been using it for cooking but also enjoying a glass of lemon water in the morning. Here are some of the claimed benefits of lemon water: promotes hydration, source of vitamin C, improves your skin quality, aids digestion, freshens breath, and helps prevent kidney stones.
listen - In case you missed itβ¦I shared a new Spotify playlist last week! The Music Guide v. 3 is out! I canβt live without music and listening to my playlists has kept me sane these last four weeks. I love that so many of you feel the same way about music - canβt wait to hear what you think about this one!
do - My feelings about cooking right now are the same for exercising. It is really easy to open up social media and feel like you need to learn how to bake a soufflΓ© while doing 25 burpees and drinking a freshly made green juice. It just isnβt realistic! For the first two weeks that we were home I felt so uninspired. Everyone was Tik Tok-ing and doing work-out videos and I didnβt know where to start - it all felt so overwhelming. Now, almost a month later, Iβm finally starting to feel more settled in my new routine. When I see things Iβm interested in like a recipe or activity for the boys, I screenshot or bookmark it and make it when I feel like it. Iβve come to terms with the fact that I will probably be here for at least another month which means lots of time to try and do new things, but at my own pace!
make - NOW that I gave you all my disclaimerβ¦here are some recipes Iβve made or saved that you might want to try! This vegan matcha banana bread from one of my favorite chefs, Chloe Coscarelli (she had me at matcha). THIS chicken soup recipe from Athena Calderone was so delicious. It took a while to make but we had enough leftovers for another meal so totally worth it!
watch - I started the newest (and last) season of Homeland on Friday night and it is SO good. Iβm trying really hard not to binge watch it! I had totally forgot where the show left off and wasnβt going to watch it until the preview sucked me back in. If you donβt have showtime but youβre an Amazon Prime member, you can start a 30-day trial for free (just donβt blame me if you forget to cancel it)!
cleanse - This clean and natural face peel smells AMAZING and is even more effective. I use it every two weeks (at night) and I always wake up feeling like Iβve just had a facial. If youβre not familiar with Tammy Fender her products are holistic, plant-derived, and most importantly effective!
