Olivier Theyskens + Theory = GENIUS

I have a special place in my heart for belgian-born designer, Olivier Theyskens. His designs are clean, effortless, perfectly tailored. That's why, in 2010, when I heard that Olivier was joining forces with Theory to create Theyskens' Theory, I knew it would be a success. Olivier embodies the flare that was lacking in Theory's designs. A parisian punch if you will. Don't get me wrong, I love Theory and I think their silhouettes are amazing (especially for the corporate woman), but Theyskens has elevated them into a higher level of fashion. ASHA

www.ashabyadm.com

Last week at the Greenwich sidewalk sale I discovered a fabulous new line of jewelry and clothing called ASHA! Designer Ashley Dodgen-McCormick created ASHA after being inspired by her studies and travels abroad. She is young, beautiful, and so sweet. I loved her collection of resort wear called ASHA Plage and of course couldn't resist snagging one of the tunics (see photo below). I'm thinking of using her earrings as a gift for my bridesmaids but shhh don't tell anyone!

1. Zodiac Ring ($395)
2. Pippa Python Clutch ($1,450)
3. Me in an ASHA dress this weekend in Lake George, NY
4. Flavia Earrings ($595)

Do it yourself: Granola!

I don't know about you, but I can't start my day without having breakfast. I love mixing greek yogurt and berries with this homemade granola. Try it and tell us what you think!

Serves 4-6

4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1 cup coarsely chopped almonds
3/4 cup honey
8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter

Heat oven to 320 degrees.

Place the butter and honey in a small saucepan over low heat and stir until the butter is melted. Place the oatsand nuts in a large bowl, pour over 1/2 the butter mixture and toss well to combine. Spread evenly over the base of a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Stir, pour the remaining half of your butter mixture over the granola and bake for a further 5?10 minutes or until crisp and golden. Allow to cool and stir through additional items likeraisinscranberriespumpkin seeds or pistachios. Store in an airtight container.
